My top ranking desserts in KL

Most of the people like desserts and cafe. So do I. In my opinion, this is the best thing to do in KL instead of shopping. I would like to spend my time in the comfy and relaxed ambience. A cafe without a good ambience is just like a cake without sweet taste. Now, I would like to choose my top raking desserts that I've tried in the last couple of months. The raking has no particular order. =)

1. Sweet potato cake from Namoo Korean Dessert Cafe and Bistro on the park, Publika

This is one of my favourite cake because it doesn't taste too sweet and it don't have so much cream like other cakes.

2. Valrhona Heaven from NOSH, Bangsar.

Omg, I still can imagine the taste in my mouth when I see this photo. There's two flavour of chocolates inside the chocolate cake. You can feel the different taste of chocolate mix together in your mouth. This must be a paradise for chocolate lover. <3 I miss this dessert so so muchhhh.....><

A small introduction from the menu for this dessert.

3. Straight from the Oven Chocolate Cake, Raspberry Sherbet, Vanilla Anglaise Sauce & Thirty 8 Signature Cake 2014 from Thirty8, Grand Hyatt

The speciality for this dessert is the raspberry ice cream! You must try the chocolate cake with the ice cream!!

This is the signature cake of Thirty 8 but I prefer the chocolate cake. =)

4. Chocolate Fondant from Cafe Barbera
Address: 18, Lorong Maarof, 59000 Kuala Lumpur.

5. Sizzling Brownie from Acme Bar & Coffee, The Troika

A brownie with sizzling chocolate and ice cream on top. This is the signature dessert from ABC. Must try. =)

6.  Waffle with fruits and chocolate & Brownie from Good Friends Restaurant and Cafe, SS15 Subang Jaya.

A simple brownie but taste awesome!

Soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, these waffles are served with bananas, strawberries, pumpkin seeds and chocolate. I love it.

7. Matcha Parfait from Nana's Green Tea Cafe, The Gardens
There's a variety of combination of parfait. You can choose the parfait according to your favourite combination. =)

The matcha doesn't taste too bitter and when you eat the matcha ice cream with the red beans is the best!!

8. Homemade Lave Cake from a friend who works in Regent Hotel, Singapore.
This is the best Lava Cake I've tried. =) I heard that he plan to start his own cafe in KL soon. Hopefully I still can eat this after I go back to Malaysia. =D

However, all of these desserts are according to your own taste. There's still a lot of delicious desserts I'haven't tried yet. So, this ranking will be updated on next year when I go back to Malaysia. =D

My first experience when flying alone to UK

I have been here for almost 1 month. I couldn't say that I did well for everything since I came here. In the other way, what I want to say is I'm just a normal 19 years old girl who choose to study abroad and everything she faced is just same as everyone.

I remembered that the moment when I want to enter the boarding gate in the airport, I feel scared. I felt like I can't return once I enter the gate. I felt I'm not yet ready to go in. Til now, I can't forget the feelings on that day. At that moment, I was no longer the strong and independent girl in front of everyone. I was scared and nervous. At the same time, I start to worry about everything. 'Can I go alone? Can I settle all the problems alone? Do I have the ability to do so? What if some unexpected accidents happen?' All of these question marks came from my nervous because it was an unknown in front of me. I don't know everything about my tomorrow because I never go to UK, I never fly alone. Everything is just the first time. Ya, so this is my first experience which I would like to share with you guys. Of course there are some of them didn't feel same as me but I admit that I'm not strong enough to be one of them. =)

However, due to time limitation, I decided to enter the boarding gate without caring my feelings and I just left my parents, my boyfriend and my friends behind. =( When I went to the passport control, the female worker said' Sayang, janganlah nangis.' In this situation, even a simple sentence will make you feel touched and warmed your heart. I replied her a smile with tears face. =') After that, I went to the security checking to check my luggages. On the way, my boyfriend called me, because it was too rush and we didn't have time to talk. We both cried in that phone call and everyone just stared at me. At that time, I don't care about others anymore.

When I reached to the departure lounge, I don't want to enter the departure gate because it is the last chance for me to talk with my boyfriend in the call. I need to wait for about 18 hours after this call. I feel really sad to leave this country, my everything.

After getting onto the plane, I found my seat and I was so lucky because a malaysian guy was sitting beside me. His name is Jimmy. We talked and shared our life story together and I was so glad to meet him. He was going to purpose to his girlfriend who was studying master in Sheffield. I truly blessed for them. <3

My dinner on the plane.

My flight will transit at Abu Dhabi Airport and after 7 hours of sleeping and eating in the plane, we finally reached. I need to wait for 2 hours something before departure. The sad thing is the Malaysian guy will not going to take the same flight with me. Sometimes the god will send you a special guest to you and left a memorable moment in your life.

On my second flight, it was unbelievable but it was still happened because I met 1 more Malaysian as my side. Thanks god for blessing me all the way from Malaysia to United Kingdom. Haha =D She is called Dona. She is a very friendly person and she is going to study in University of Newcastle. Hopefully we can meet again at Malaysians gathering event on every year.

Breakfast which is provided in the plane.

**Remember to wear more and bring a thick jacket when taking a long journey flight because it was so cold!! Although the blanket is provided but it is totally not enough.

I was extremely exhausted when I reached London Heathrow Airport after 18 hours on the plane. Dona and I helped each other to carry luggages from luggage reclaim. It was so glad when you know some new friends in a unfamiliar environment and helping each other. When we were queuing for the customs, I just realised that I forgot my sport shoe in the plane from Malaysia to Abu Dhabi. T^T It was totally a sad case, I love that shoe so much so much... =( I was so careless...Arggghhh!! I know this kind of things must be happened on me every time. =(((

At the airport, it's time to say goodbye to Dona. =( My university has provided me pick up service at the airport and I need to meet them at Terminal 3.

Then bla,bla,bla...all the registration things and finally I went out from the airpot and I can feel the cold weather outside there. The first thing I saw is the blue sky and the red brick buildings. Yeah, I am in UK now! Everything is fine and not that worst. =)

Just want to share my first experience and tell the others who wants to go study abroad alone, 'EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE =)'.

Feel shocked when I realised I had written so long for this post. I supposed to write until my life in Southampton but since it's too long already, so my UK life will be the next post. =)
